Our mission
We help talented students pursue Islamic studies at Al-Azhar University by removing financial barriers and offering mentorship, so they can return to serve their communities with knowledge and integrity.

Who Is Eligible

  • Age: 18–25

  • Location: Currently living in Kyrgyzstan or Egypt

  • Academics & character: Strong academic record, good conduct, and community-minded goals

  • Financial need: Demonstrated gap between costs and available resources

How to Apply

Step 1 - Online Application

Complete the application form

Step 2 - Interview (online or in-person)

20-30 minute conversation about your goals, preparation, and need

Decision emailed/texted within 2-4 weeks after interviews

Selection Criteria

  • Financial need (35%) – clear funding gap with documentation

  • Academic readiness (25%) – transcripts, prior study achievements

  • Purpose & alignment (20%) – motivation, fit with Al-Azhar, community plans

  • Character & conduct (10%) – recommendations, personal integrity

  • Language readiness (10%) – current level or plan to reach required level

Is this program affiliated with Al-Azhar University?
No. We are an independent support program. Admission decisions remain solely with Al-Azhar University.
What happens if I defer or take leave?
Funding may pause or be reviewed; you must notify us immediately.
How are stipends paid?
Stipends are paid directly to students or indirectly cover expenses.
What interview questions should I expect?
Motivation for Al-Azhar, study plan, financial need, language readiness, and community goals.
Can I reapply if not selected?
Yes, unless stated otherwise in your decision email.
